Senior Machine Learning Engineer, AI Platform

Databricks is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI Platform team. You will be instrumental in building and scaling the infrastructure that enables data scientists and ML engineers to develop, train, and deploy models efficiently on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. This role requires a strong understanding of ML workflows, MLOps, and distributed computing. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain scalable MLOps tools and services. * Design and implement features for model training, deployment, and monitoring. * Optimize performance and reliability of the AI platform. * Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define the roadmap. **Requirements:** * MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. * 5+ years of experience in ML engineering or software development. * Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Spark MLlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience with MLOps best practices. **Benefits:** Competitive salary and stock options.
