Overview
Severity: MEDIUM | Affected: NVIDIA | Category: tool
NVIDIA has launched Morpheus Guard, an open-source cybersecurity framework designed to provide real-time threat detection for AI-powered applications. Built on top of their Morpheus AI application framework, Guard allows developers to integrate security monitoring directly into their AI pipelines. It uses accelerated computing to analyze telemetry from models, APIs, and data streams to detect anomalies, adversarial attacks, and data poisoning attempts in real-time. The framework includes pre-built models for identifying common threats like prompt injection, model inversion attacks, and denial-of-service attempts against AI services. By open-sourcing the tool, NVIDIA aims to standardize security practices for the MLOps lifecycle and help organizations build more resilient AI systems. The release has been well-received by the security community.
