Overview
Severity: MEDIUM | Affected: AI/ML Developers | Category: tool
The non-profit SentinelAI Foundation has launched 'Glaive,' a new open-source framework designed to automate the security testing and red-teaming of Large Language Models. Glaive provides a comprehensive suite of tools for developers and security professionals to proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. It includes modules for testing against common attack vectors like prompt injection, jailbreaking, data leakage, and denial-of-service. The framework features a plugin architecture, allowing the community to contribute new attack techniques and defense evaluation metrics. Glaive integrates directly into the MLOps pipeline, enabling continuous security assessment during model development and deployment. The release aims to standardize AI security testing and provide organizations with a powerful, accessible tool to harden their AI systems against emerging threats, fostering a more secure and resilient AI ecosystem.
